Ontario Regional Council

At Ontario Regional Council, National President Lana Payne didn’t mince words about Donald Trump’s re-election and uncertainty for Canadian workers. With buy American policies and tariffs that could be imposed on Canadian goods and with a Conservative majority looming, times are about to get very difficult. Unifor National President Lana Payne shared her determination to fight for Canada's workers at Ontario Council this past weekend and said, "We will be the voice of workers and good jobs as we climb this mountain, as we navigate the very difficult days ahead, as we force governments and the business community to understand there is nothing normal about these times." Unifor is ready to act on behalf of all workers.
