Women’s Conference-August 18-21, 2024

This Women’s Conference took place August 18th to August 21st. 10 sisters from our local attended the conference. Women Rise was the theme of this year’s conference. There were many great speakers such as Jill Andrew-Ontario NDP MPP, Lana Payne, Jennifer Murray, Samia Hashi and Fae Johnstone. 

There were panels on skilled trades and sexual harassment in the hospitality gaming and airline sectors. We played bingo and attended a feminist prom. We met sisters from across the union in various sectors
